navarathri (aka Dasara, golu) 2009

We made the golu decorations, this year as well. This year, for the one reason, that we are in India, it was all the more special and more "festive". Thaatha, Paatti had come and so did Maama and maami.

For the ayudha puja, we decorated the vehicles at home and did the pooja.my bi-cycle grabbed the center stage and i was all excited :)

the golu decorations. I helped amma make the park, shared my toys to be part of the golu. We had lots of guests coming in and had a wonderful time playing with all the kids :)

Garba 2008

After returning from Lofou village, had a short nap and got ready for Garba ( phew... was a hectic saturday)

yeah, that is used for "Dandiya". Had fun and got hurt, as well :(

Golu 2008

Like the previous years, we had Golu at home. This year i helped amma to take the stuffs from the living room to the pooja room...

with ansh, who had to leave for India on a vacation before the actual pooja.
