navarathri (aka Dasara, golu) 2009

We made the golu decorations, this year as well. This year, for the one reason, that we are in India, it was all the more special and more "festive". Thaatha, Paatti had come and so did Maama and maami.

For the ayudha puja, we decorated the vehicles at home and did the pooja.my bi-cycle grabbed the center stage and i was all excited :)

the golu decorations. I helped amma make the park, shared my toys to be part of the golu. We had lots of guests coming in and had a wonderful time playing with all the kids :)

a visit to the zoo

We visited the Bannerghatta national park when we went to Bangalore (Bengaluru). The visit was fantastic and i enjoyed the safari and saw lots of bears, tigers, lion and a quite a few animals for the first time :) Ended the day by playing in the park until i was totally drained :)

Bhimashankar trip

We went out on a trip to Bhimashankar - 2-3 hrs drive from Pune. We went Ansh and some of amma's friends. The day was good, enjoyed the small waterfalls on the road sides, the mountains and lush green country side :)

we had been to a place called "Chauki Dhani" - a place of village culture.
